Darryl Goodwin

Darryl is the Owner, President / CEO and Principal Broker of Goodwin Real Estate Advisors. Growing up around the business, he took an interest in the profession at a young age and decided to follow in his dad’s footsteps becoming a commercial real estate broker. He officially began his career in commercial real estate in June of 2000, after earning a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad School of Business.

Darryl spent the first 21 years of his career as a real estate broker and an integral associate at some of Metro Detroit’s most prominent commercial real estate brokerage firms. From a starting position as a sales associate, Darryl worked his way up in the business. Along the way, he developed invaluable experience along with an unparalleled drive to succeed. These strengths led to his eventual role as an Executive Vice President and Principal and the honor of being a top commercial broker in Southeastern Michigan.

For 25+ years, Darryl has consistently been a strong producer in the commercial real estate industry. Through his hard work and dedication Darryl has completed over 750 commercial real estate transactions totaling several million square feet of sold or leased property. His career focuses on maintaining and building valuable relationships through representing numerous national and local developers and landlords in a wide array of commercial properties. These properties include investment sales, high-profile new construction shopping centers, free-standing buildings, restaurants, office buildings, industrial buildings and vacant land. Aside from representing property owners, Darryl’s clientele include a long list of national, regional and local tenants who he represents in securing new locations whether it is for strategic expansion or relocation purposes.

Darryl is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has been a Costar Power Broker since 2008. He is known for providing exceptionally attentive service to his clients. Darryl’s drive, experience, skillset, and integrity make him a tremendous asset to his clients.

Bruce Goodwin

Bruce Goodwin

Bruce is Co-Owner and Principal Broker of Goodwin Real Estate Advisors. After graduating from Wayne State University, he started his career as a property manager in 1976. Bruce was responsible for an expansive portfolio of apartment and industrial properties. In 1987, he decided to leverage his unique skill set and transition into commercial real estate. Bruce hit the ground running in his first year and quickly flourished, building a book of business along with a sterling reputation.

Today, he handles every facet of commercial real estate and excels for his clients. Bruce has extensive skills in representing all types of commercial real estate including high-profile shopping centers, free-standing buildings, restaurants, vacant land, and investment sales as well as representation of all types of tenants and buyers. His relationships include national, local, and regional entities. Every project receives his full attention and expertise—characteristics embedded in his partner and son, Darryl.

Bruce is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has been a Costar Power Broker for multiple years. Well-known in the industry, his second-to-none work ethic, industry knowledge, and experience have accomplished superior results for clients for decades.

David Wax

Mr. Wax is a Senior Associate with Goodwin Real Estate Advisors. During his career, Mr. Wax has personally closed over 1,500 transactions, encompassing over 18,000,000 square feet of industrial, commercial, and office property. These transactions total in excess of $550,000,000.00 and included the sale of a 949,684 square foot building in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Mr. Wax earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan in 1961. From 1961 to 1990 he owned and operated Metropolitan Detroit's largest wholesale bakery supply distribution company, which he sold in 1990.

Mr. Wax has been in the commercial/industrial real estate industry since 1992. He specializes in the sale and lease of industrial property. He is also proficient in the sale and lease of commercial and office real estate.

Mr. Wax is married, has two grown children, and has resided in Farmington Hills for nearly sixty years.
